Our team started from scratch and worked closely with The White House to create the brand image and branding materials, such as menus and signage.

Local Coffee Shop Branding
The White House was an espresso bar and beer garden here in Denton. Our team considered all of the elements of this local coffee shop’s environment when crafting all of their branding.
Square 205’s designers created many badges, icons, and logos to create the perfect brand image for The White House. The winning icon was inspired by a few of the badges our team created. We used a combination of a fork and coffee beans, creating a beer hop shape, lying across a plate. This icon includes all of the components of The White House, coffee, food, and beer. Our designers had a lot of great logo ideas, and in the end, they decided on a type they created that says “The White House,” and is at times combined with the coffee shop’s icon.
When it came to the color scheme for the brand, we wanted to use mostly black and white with pops of a warm and inviting color. The use of kraft paper and wood in the decor and furniture helped tie browns and tans into the warm theme, while not complicating the color scheme.
