We were presented with an idea and some basic feature requirements and asked to build a brand and an app. That’s where Calhoot came from.
Calhoot is the second best thing to happen to events right after the all-you-can-eat buffet! Create, Manage, Share, and Discover the events that matter to you and your friends. Events can be aggregated from multiple sources or created directly in the web-based application Calhoot.
Square 205 first developed branding, creating a clever name and a simple, fun, and modern brand identity. Then, an easy-to-use user interface was designed for both mobile and desktop use ensuring all major features of the event application are always within one-click of a user’s interaction. The app was developed using a lightweight but powerful Javascript framework.
