Project Challenges


B’ahava means “with love” in Hebrew, which is precisely how the DFW-based company cares for animals. Using Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medical techniques, such as acupuncture, Tui-na (Chinese Medical Massage), herbal therapy, and food therapy, B’ahava provides pet owners with an alternative to conventional veterinary practices. 

This new and unique business needed a professional brand identity to build out its web presence and brand collateral. The client had a clear vision of what she wanted, requiring a creative agency to collaborate and turn her ideas into reality.

Brand Design


We started this branding project with a discovery session, posing a series of questions designed to help the client articulate what she wanted. Our goal was to put her ideas in a visual form and create a brand she would love. This session gave us what we needed to present our Design Direction Presentation, consisting of different design direction options illustrated through moodboards and sketches to further explore her vision. 

Once we were clear on the direction, we began designing logo options. We wanted to create something calming, nature-inspired, and spa-like. Through close collaboration and a great deal of color and logo mark exploration, we landed on a custom type logo and mark. 

In addition to the primary logo, we provided the client with a secondary logo, mark only, and wordmark only variations. These were used to mock-up business cards so the client could visualize how the brand would translate in a real scenario.

Brand Guidelines


To strengthen the brand identity and ensure consistency as the business expands, our team developed brand guidelines for B’ahava. The document outlined logo usages including for multiple background colors, color palette, and typography, ensuring the client would have everything they needed to launch their brand on social media and begin marketing to clients.
