When the Project Manager of Square 205 happened to bump into Patient Zero, the creator of the infamous Virus Vodka, it seemed like a natural no-brainer to produce creative and compelling videos together.

Cool, creepy, and unlike anything you’ve seen before—Virus Vodka is a Texas-based vodka company with an apocalyptic theme and loyal following. Shaped like an Erlenmeyer flask, this vile of vodka is gluten-free, kosher certified, and contains the “essence” of the virus that brought zombies, vampires, and werewolves into the world.
Square 205 had the pleasure of creating two 15 second promotional videos for social media advertising and the official Virus Vodka account on Instagram. Our team shot all footage in house and wanted to go with a glitchy, corrupted feel in post. We reflected Virus Vodka’s brand image with scenes filled with scientific beakers, hazmat suits, gas masks, and implied biological changes in DNA under microscopes. We also created the logo sting of their stylized hazmat symbol at the end of each video.
